I couldn't follow this flash man. Improve on you story telling.
Your priority should be text location. make sure to follow the reading laws: left-right, up-down in bubble placement. Using a cleaner font too would reduce strain on older eyes.

I like the speed display. It can add a a competitive element. Players could yell: "I made it to 10.12!".

I found the limited timer were new powerups exist in the world annoying. But i reason this is a better method to add challenge to players who can barely keep up with the falling blocks. Reconsidering this annoyance, I now agree that it is a neat tidbit to the gameplay.

You could remove the first 5 secs, allowing the guitar to start and be quickly followed by the beat. My suggestion is minor, but i wonder if the song will become better.

Wow, not that the song can be called mysterious. But, more fitting to a cybernetic pirate overload. Seriously, it has that "swing" vibe pirate songs have. And add that in with the cyberspace sounding samples and that's all i can think of.
